Travel free on London's newest Superloop route.

I'm delighted to announce that London's newest Superloop route, the SL12, will begin serving passengers from Saturday 5 September.

Connecting Gants Hill, Romford, Elm Park and Rainham, the new express bus route will provide quicker and more convenient journeys across East London.

To celebrate the launch, all pay as you go journeys on the SL12 will be free for the first week, giving Londoners the chance to try the new service for themselves.

The new route will provide:

🚌 Faster links between Gants Hill, Romford, Elm Park and Rainham

🚌 Easy interchange with the Elizabeth, Central and District lines

🚌 Travel on brand-new electric, zero-emission buses with air conditioning and charging points

The SL12 is the latest addition to our Superloop network, one of my proudest achievements as Mayor.

Since launching in 2023, Superloop has transformed bus travel in Outer London, making it quicker and easier for people to travel around the capital.

I encourage anyone who lives, works or travels in the area to take advantage of the free travel offer from 5 September and give the new SL12 a try.
